The things you will do for a Scrap page!!

So this is my first layout to share with you, but there is a REALLY funny story behind it!!!

while we were on holidays in Melbourne we went and visited Myuna Farm, and as you do you take a million photo's.I had this page in my head and new exactly what I wanted to use and that was feathers. So here I was trying to get close enough to the animals to try and steal a feather or so with no luck.....until I finally got hold of an emu and plucked that feather right off him, which mind you I think looks great on the page. My only regret is that I didn't get more!! LOL

This weekend was the Savvy Cybercrop, but I only managed to complete two challenges. Firstly, my interpretation of Kayla's Challenge.....and I absolutely love how this turned out especially the photo of Isabelle!!

Next was the blind scrap on Sat night.....

I do have one bit of news and that is I finally decided to give it a go of submitting some of my layouts for publication and I was lucky enough for Scrapbooking Memories to accept a layout, just have to wait and see what happens from here!!

More layouts from crop!!

Just quickly (as I am meant to be cleaning up the kitchen...lol) are the last of my layouts from crop on Saturday.

this one I used October's sketch at What is old is new but just realised that I was meant to use PP as the base....der!! Oh well it is a fab sketch so don't mind doing another!!

next was a sketch challenge on the night which was a pagemaps sketch....don't you just love the new range of AC Thickers. Some of them are devine!!

this one was a blind challenge from Challenge Heaven that I did start on the Friday night but was too buggered so finished it on the night!

and lastly a just because one using websters pages of Isabelle and my niece Abbey....they are so cute together.

Also have a few from todays crop at Savvy but my mojo must have up and left me after Saturday's efforts as I am not really happy with what I achieved today....but you get that!

Don't forget that Savvy is holding their cybercrop this weekend and the theme is of course "PINK". Should be a great one and heaps of fab challenges. Hope to see you there!!

Pink Ribbon Crop

Saturday was the Pink Ribbon Crop and what a fantastic night it was!! Besides the fact we had 9hrs of scrapping there were great raffles and challenges for all! I was lucky enough to win the "pink" themed challenge where we had to create a LO with pink in it, handwritten journalling, ribbon and inking. This was my layout....

I won this awesome pack donated by Green Tara....LOVE IT!! So thanks Green Tara!!

Not exactly sure how much was raised but it all counts in the end for this great cause.
I managed to get another 5 layouts completed but will upload tomorrow.

Other layouts to share is this one which was from the Savvy Round Robin

and this is the ad challenge from Savvy....

that's it for tonight just a quickie, be back tomorrow with the rest!

I can finally share.....

.....my layouts from last Tuesday's crop at Scrapbook Savvy. Had a great day and actually got four layouts done which is very unusual for me as I find when I have plenty of time on my hands I procrastinate. Is anyone else like this???

So firstly I have my fave layout of the day.It was from an ad inspiration at
What's Ad About? which is the first time I have sent anything in and the challenge blog is fairly new so check it out if you are looking for something new.
These are some pics of Isabelle and I in the photo booth at Grand Final footy last weekend. She was so mesmerized by it all I thought we were going to end up in there the whole game!!

This is a photo I have wanted to scrap in ages from Isabelle's 3rd birthday and now I finally got around to it using October's first sketch at Stuck Sketches.

and Sketch #32 is up at Inspired Blueprints and it is a beauty. Check it out here plus many more sketches and my next three layouts are all from Inspired!!

So that's about all from me....off to go and get organised to return back to work after my hols. NOT looking forward to it at all!!

Savvy sketch

Well only one more page to share at the moment as I haven't had time to photograph the layouts I got done at the Savvy Crop as I have been down the coast at my Mum's and Dad's and of course it rained the whole time Yet again. So pretty much the whole 3 wks of my hol's has involved, YES RAIN!! Not happy.

But anyway gave me a fair bit of time to organise my house and get some scrapping done. Well this LO is Savvy's October Sketch

and my interpretation

Such a great sketch to use up your bits and pieces. There are many more great monthly challenges to join in on so head on over.

While I'm mentioning challenges, there is a new blog called Challenge Heaven that also has many monthly challenges so head on over as well if you are looking for something new!!

FINALLY some scrapping to share!!

Well after a long stint of no scrapping I went crazy and managed 8 layouts in two days!! Very impressed with myself. So thought I would share some with you....some I am unable to though, yet.

First is the Inspired Blueprints sketch #31 which is so easy to adapt any page to....thoroughly enjoyed this one.

this one is for Anna's Craft Cupboard monthly sketch of my sweet niece Bronte at Isabelle's 2nd birthday giving Strawberry Shortcake lots and lots of kisses!!

this was last month's sketch but never got around to it till the other day....another great sketch!

another sketch from last month at Stuck Sketches that i only just completed..Nate's fave time of the day is def his bath time!!

and lastly a just because page, as I have never used Webster's Pages before. I was a bit taken aback at first on what to do but got there eventually and really enjoyed using these papers as it is so different from what I normally use.

I just spent the day at a crop at Scrapbook Savvy and had a great day and actually got another 4 pages done......that never happens to me normally I procrastinate when I have heaps of time.
Off to the coast tomorrow to see my parents so till then
