Cybercrop LO's.....

Last weekend the cybercrop was held over at Challenge Heaven, with the theme being "outdoors". I have so many outdoor pics and first challenge for me was the sketch challenge by Sheree using a sketchabilities sketch



I have used a mixture of PP's on this layout.....Pink Paislee, My Minds Eye and Sass Lass and alpha's are MME....totally love these alphas!



Challenge 2 was to create a layout using an outdoor pic plus must use something from outdoors, eg bird, tree etc



once again I have used MME papers, have stamped some background in "Split Pea" using the Kaisercraft bubble wrap stamp.....LOVE IT!! I added a little butterfly for my outdoor item.
Also there is a yellow doily I picked up from the Chip Chop Shop, Prima and some chipboard.

Unfortunately that was all the challenges I was able to complete....

August Challenge @ KIU

I don't normally find enough time in the month to get all the challenges done that I hope to, like KIU, but this month, I had to as I loved the colour challenge of using Black, green and yellow and of course, Kraft.



I am so happy with the glimmermisting, as it is a technique I haven't quite got the knack of yet. Normally I just end up with blotches, but not this time....YAY!

The papers are from a few ranges of October Afternoon(definitely my fave company) and 3 Bugs in a Rug plus there is some Prima, Basic Grey, 7 Gypsies and Sass Lass embellies there.

Some scrappy shares!

Today has been extremely scrappy, I even managed to get three layouts done, which is unheard of for me! So thought I would share some.

So anyways, these layouts are from last week. First is a sketch from Handmade by Suzanne which stocks all new products at great prices, trust me I know! lol
They have a monthly sketch on their ning site and this was the sketch this month by Natalie Elphinstone...



and I have used My Minds Eye papers from a few different ranges to create this layout plus cut the embellishments from the PP as well as using Prima E-line petals to create the flower



another layout to share is Sketch 53 from Inspired Blueprints....I love this sketch site!! They release a sketch on a fortnightly basis which also includes a digi sketch and card sketch.



I have used so many old papers for this layout, the stripe is old Sass Lass paper and pp background and the pp I used to fussy cut, I have no idea what paper it is!

Better late than never...

So this month was the start of the new challenge blog, The Lollipop Ladies, and I knew I wanted to do the challenge as soon as I saw the inspiration, as below.....



and the challenge was to create something......card, layout, project etc.

I chose to use the colours for my inspiration (chocolate, vanilla & strawberry) and created this layout......even though I forgot to upload it before the due date...der!!



So the challenge this fortnight is to use this delicious cupcake as your inspiration to CREATE!!



Look forward to having a go at it.....I'm thinking ruffles and minimal????? Hmmmm.....

I've had a Makeover!!

Well it took me a good part of today and the help of my sister-in-law, Shell, but I have finally finished my makeover for my blog!! I came across these cute "blogs in a box" that I just had to have as I was well and truly over my last couple attempts at "decorating" my blog. It was obvious after my first hour of attempting the design that I definitely only have the "basic" skills on the computer!!LOL

So not much scrapping for me but I do have a layout to share before I head to bed and it is a layout of Belle with piggy tails, which I so adore in her hair!!



I have used MME papers from "So Sophie" plus this was my first attempt making some paper flowers, still need some adjusting though because they keep coming undone. But they are a great way to use up some of your scraps and generally very easy!

August sketch @ Challenge Heaven

There is another great array of challenges this month at Challenge Heaven, and first one for me is the sketch.



Here I have used some older papers, being LYB - Traveller range plus some October Afternoon word and journal stickers, cosmo cricket chipboard alphas and other bits and pieces.

Planning on doing the next challenge, Ebony & Ivory Challenge which is Black Or White with red...

Back online!!

Well the last four days have been pretty non active as I have had no internet and i knew I would miss it BUT not this much. It still won't be connected for another 3 days and I couldn't wait any longer so I went and got myself mobile broadband...LOL How sad!

Anyway I have a couple of layouts to share, the first being a layout I did using the Pink Paislee Queen Bee range which I totally loved!!



and this was another using Crate paper from the Brook and Sprout collections, very quick and easy!



and lastly this was the colour challenge at Challenge Heaven last month of brown and green and I couldn't resist this pic of Damo and Isabelle together at Shallow Crossing, Batemans Bay



So back into the swing of things once my working weeks is over and the plan is to scrap!!
