Scrap bits.....

Well I haven't actually scrapped anything new but here are a few layouts I completed before I went away.

The first two are my DT applications for White with 1. The first criteria was white, pink and No flowers and the second was white, yellow and flourishes.






I was also part of Scrapbook savvy's DT comp but had to pull out at the last minute so here are the layouts that were part of the part 2 challenge, where you had to pick a product and do a review and I chose the gorgeous new range from Sassafras Lass, Monstrosity. Such a cute range for boys!!





Well that's it!!

I'm back...with news!!

YES I'm finally back from Hol's and have totally missed not having a computer for 10 days......I feel like I have been in another country!! LOL
I totally have the scrap Dt's as I haven't picked up a single scrap item in 10 days and can't wait to get back into it....that is after I unpack and catch up!

So anyways my news is that I am now on the White with 1 team and looking forward to working with the new team of ladies. They always have awesome challenges....with a twist and it is great news that this challenge blog will be continuing!!
So make sure you check out the challenges which are posted at the start of the month and are due by the 30th of every month and layouts that are entered are regularly updated.

So just a quick post tonight as I am buggered and hopefully after the next few days I will be more organised and have a bit more to share.

4 more sleeps till....

I'm on hol's....YEAH. Three weeks of not having to worry about work!! What a pleasure. It has been over a year since I have had any time off from work and I definitely need it.
We are heading to Melbourne on Saturday morning for about 8 days. so there will be little scrapping going on although I plan on getting some scrap time with my niece Emily who is always keen to scrap with me and she did mention she wanted to go to a crop day at the local scrap shop but not 100% if that is going ahead but I have made up a few page kits Just in case.

In the meantime have managed a few layouts. I am currently taking part in the Dt challenge over at Scrapbook Savvy and here are my first two layouts from Part one of the challenge





and lastly What is Old is New now has a challenge blog and there first challenge is a sketch



So really that's about all, just really been getting ready to go away and a few other bits and pieces.

Savvy Cybercrop this weekend!!!

This weekend is Scrapbook Savvy's September Cybercrop...and this month we're celebrating Spring!! All challenges will be revealed on Friday night 18th September, with bingo & blind scrapping on Saturday night 19th September from 8pm. Layout Update

Have been waiting for some decent weather and free time to photograph some layouts I have had sitting around and finally got around to it today!!

Last night headed over to Sar's and got a double done of Nate and his eating habit of late....so love the title I came up with!! LOL



Next is a sketch challenge we had at the retreat...LOVE these photos!



Also a class that Lisa Warren held which I completed after the retreat.....



Have decided that I definitely need to scarp these kind of pages more often

Scrap the Boys - Sept Challenge!!

Well it's a new month again which means another great challenge at Scrap the Boys. It was so great to see all the entries for last month's criteria let's see what we can come up with this month.

So the criteria this month is simply to;

- Scrap a multiphoto layout of your boy’s birthday.

-Include on the page a list of everyone who attended and description of the party (theme, cake, games etc.).

These are the memories we tend to forget so it is time to document them before it is too late.

I'm on a mission to......

DE-CLUTTER MY HOUSE!!!!!

Well I just have to share my accomplishments of yesterday....I woke up and decided I was going to have a massive cleanup, which started at 8.00am and finally finished last night at 11.30pm. Last port of call was my scrap space and here are my before pics...disgraceful I now realise



And this is my after pics......what a difference!! I never realised how disorganised I was until I organised it all!!!! LOL (I still hid stuff tidily under the desk....he he he)



Anyway just had to share as I was very proud of myself......now just to keep it this way...............
