Before the madness hits....

YES it is that time of the year and tomorrow and Thursday are going to be MENTAL for me at work!! Not looking forward to it.

So I know I will definitely forget to hop on and wish everyone a Great Xmas so.....

Been feeling rather unscrappy!!

Not sure why but the last couple of weeks I just haven't felt like scrapping (till yesterday anyway...lol) Must be all the mayhem of Xmas getting on top of me cause I have just been so tired and rundown and my busy period at work doesn't even start till tomorrow. I so hate working in retail!!!!

Anyway I still do have a few layouts to share, amazingly enough!

This was the Dec sketch challenge at Savvy and I have used this Pagemaps sketch ages ago so tried to do something different...



This is the sketch when I did it like forever ago...funny looking back 12 months ago to see how you scrapped back then!!



last fortnight I went to Savvy's crop day and got the next two layouts done, I fully struggled with them...you know when you just don't have the mojo and it is a real effort..

STB.....Angels or Grinches????

Well I am sad to say that this will be the last challenge for Scrap the Boys and it is a fab chance to get out those Xmas pics!
Challenge is to use in your title "Grinch or Angel" and all layout are due by end of month.

Here is my sample and of course it is all about it never seems I can get that perfect Xmas photo. Last year Isabelle wouldn't even go near Santa and Nate sat there as happy as AND this year Isabelle was soooooo excited and Nate was freaked out!!



I have used the new Xmas range from Collage Press - Joyride, that I picked up from Scrapbook Savvy and it is just gorgeous and can be used for both boys and girls. Sar also has a countdown to Xmas sale which started yesterday at 24% off and everyday it is reduced by 1% so Shop early to get the best discount!!

I hate being sick!!

I have this horrid flu now for over a week and it has knocked me for six!! I never seem to get sick in winter just summer....why is that??

So anyways have hardly scrapped at all but I think I am pretty much nearly over it and tomorrow is the end of my working week and then 5 days off......so I am scrapping!!

I have a few layouts to share from crop last week.

Layout update

Well I have quite a few layouts to share as it has been over a week since i blogged!! In that time I have been to two crops as well as had a birthday and got myself a HEAP of new scrap stuff!! (gotta love birthdays)

So here we go!!

Firstly is my Layouts from crop at Scrapbooking Delights which is very rare that I attend as hubby is always on night shift but he had his first Friday night off in like 10months so I abandoned him, of course....LOL

This is an old inspired blueprints sketch..



This is a sketch I have used from 52 sketches 52 weeks, only just came across this fantastic sketch site. You must check it out!! Love these pics of Nate and my gorgeous niece Emily. She so adores him which probably has something to do with the fact that he is her only boy cousin!

The next is the sketch challenge this month at Anna's Craft cupboard and I believe it is the very talented Wendy Smith's sketch.



Now I planned on sending this next sketch in for What is old is new but of course I didn't read all the components of the challenge as I was meant to use Glimmermist or similar so I will be redoing this one but not to worry it is a great sketch!



Just a couple more....these are sketches 34 & 35 at Inspired blueprints. I am soooooo in love with October Afternoon's new ranges. Report Card and Farm Fresh are Adorable and am so looking forward to using them more.

Why have I been so busy???

I'm not exactly sure WHY but it seems like my last two weeks have been flat out with non stop plans and no Me time (aka scrapping time)
I guess heading into Xmas now the party's start, work is flat out and there will be even more less time.

So anyway over the last couple of weeks I have managed a few layouts, to share and this one I did today which is a challenge at Scrapbook Savvy...Natey boy in his little swimmers and his cute little bum!!



This one is the colour challenge at Savvy as well....It has photographed really badly and not exactly sure why



and last one to share tonight is Stuck sketches 1st Nov sketch...



I will upload a few more tomorrow cause I am off now to attempt to scrap while the kids are still up. Wish me luck!! LOL
