Not much Happening......

Well I have done absolutely no scrapping for at least a week now......not really sure what the matter is but have been feeling very lazy and unmotivated. Just hoping that a new month will bring me plenty of new and exciting challenges to get me back in the mood.

I finally got around to finishing the Sketch Challenge at Aussie Pub Calls this month, not thrilled with it......I have issues with circles, very rarely use them and if I do they have to be small ( as you will see further down!)

This is Inspired Blueprints Sketch #23 and once again I have used Pink Paislee's Fascinating range which I so Love!!!!!

White With 1 this month which had a criteria of red, white and brackets........I just LOVE how this turned out!!! I decided that I really have to start trying different things as I am getting bored with some of my layouts lately, which would probably have something to do with the lack of motivation...der, lol

I only had a couple of layouts to share and the last one is my sample for next month's criteria for Scrap the Boys (very cool must say) which I cant show yet...

So here's hoping that I am a little more inspiring in the next week....till then

OMG....I made a Creative Team!!!

WOW....who would have thought I would get on the Creative Team for Scrap the Boys.......as I have always thought I struggled with the boys layouts!! lol

Well as you guessed, I did and am very excited to be joining Susan and the rest of the team who every month have given me so much inspiration to create great boy layouts since discovering this awesome challenge blog a couple of month's ago!!

The new team are below and I recommend you check out these ladies as they are very talented!

Wendy Smith – Australia
Amy Welch - Arkansas USA
Kerryn Fry - Australia
Anna Koziarek - Poland
Leanne Triggs - Australia
Aphra Bolyer - Louisiana USA
Pia Salem – Lopez - Philippines.
Hannah Blair - New Zealand
Wendela Lam – The Netherlands
Nadhrah MaidinKuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Linda Eggleton – Australia
Monique Follet – Australia

So anyway's this month's challenge is Boys and their Toys. The photo needs to be about the boys and the their toys ( but if you don't have one or time to take one you could journal about it instead)...and the other criteria is a colour one...Red, Black and One other colour!

So if need of any inspiration, head on over and I will see you there....
Till then

Iv'e been MIA....

Just realised it's been nearly three weeks since I have updated....not really sure what I have been doing, Probably not much different than normal!!
Where does the time go????

So I therefore have quite a few layouts to post, so here goes....

Firstly, this is the Scraplift Challenge at Savvy......so LOVE this pic of Isabelle, she looks so innocent and quiet....if only you knew!!

Next is the Sketch Challenge for Savvy....

June Challenge for Scrap the Boys, had to have a layout with their toys, I had absolutely no pics of Nate and his toys but on his birthday he got so many toys and all he wanted to play with was the balloons!!!

Next are just a couple of pages I have done just because.....

Lastly I finally got around to completing a couple of Savvy's CC Challenges yesterday...this is the Lucky dip challenge and I had to use Yellow, lace, animals & heart...

This was the blind challenge... I really like how this turned out actually!

Lastly this was the sketch challenge, not real keen on this one but I challenged myself this weekend to not use any new papers, embellies etc as my scrap stuff is building up and I don't seem to be using alot of my older stuff, and that's just a waste!!

Well I will try and drop in a bit sooner than 3weeks next time....LOL!!!!

Till then

Layouts to Share....

Well I managed a few layouts in my 3 days off....plus went to a crop night on Friday at Scrapbook Savvy but only managed 1 page as I was off in another world!!

So I will make it short and sweet as I am heading off to bed for an early night!

This was the layout I finished on Friday night which was for Inspired Blueprints DT call....I just done it cause I liked the sketch!!

Next one was for Aussie Pub Calls May Roadmap, which shock horror was a double page and it has been sooooooo long since I have done a double that I really struggled!!!

also the Ad Challenge at Scrapbook Savvy, just love this pic of Natey boy even though it was like 6 months ago.... I have used the new range from Crate Paper called Sprout and it is so mega cute for boys!!!

lastly I finally got around to doing the challenge at Puzzle Sketches for the first time ever...

The last two nights Isabelle has been staying up with me and scrapping.....keeps her very quiet which is great. She got table and chairs for her birthday and Monday night when I walked into my scrap room she had dragged her table into the room and set it up with her stuff.....so cute I couldn't say no!!

Anyways she insisted last night I take a picture of her scrapbooking...."like you do for your scrapbooking Mummy" and put it on the computer.....LOL
She went a bit crazy with the scissors but here it is anyway.......

So that's it for me this week.....have a good one!!!!!

What a Week......

Well I have had an extremely busy week this week hence the late update! Well Wednesday saw Belle turn 3 and is now apparently a "big girl now" so don't get caught calling her little or she will blow up!!
We had a fairly quite day as we were having her first real party on Saturday. Although we still made it special for her. She finally got the table and chairs she has been asking for as well as a Baby Alive (now named Connie.....don't ask me where she got that name from) and a nappy bag/bottle etc and a pram for her, so she was pretty excited!!!!

Then we had to wait for Damo to come home from work so he could give her the last present which was a kitchen, yet another thing she has been wanting for awhile!

So Saturday we had her first REAL party which was a dress up theme and of course Isabelle was Minnie Mouse Fairy....she looked so friggin cute!!!

Mind you all the kids did actually...here are some pics from her birthday but you will have to hang in there for awhile as I took 300.......LOL

Nate ate like about 20 pieces of fairy bread......and that's not even an exaggeration!!!!

Of course the pinata was a huge hit....literally!!!!

And lastly had to add these two gorgeous photo's of my niece's....this is Molly who looked adorable in her tutu....

and Bronte who fell in love with Isabelle's Strawberry Shortcake and couldn't stop kissing it!!

So thankfully that is the end of my hectic two weeks of children;s parties and christenings!!

I lastly have also managed to get some scrapping done.....not as much as I hoped!!!

Firstly completed Scrap the Boys challenge....I will be the guest designer next month as part of my win last month, bit nerve wracking as I don't really like being put on the spot!

Next was White with 1 which was olive and birds themed....

and lastly was Scrap the Girls which was a sketch challenge this month!

Well that is finally all from me...have a great week xxxx

Bit hectic this morning as it is Belle's birthday and let's just say she is rather excited. Will post later on with news and pics but just wanted to quickly share my good news.
Bye for now!

Nate's Christening

Well we finally got Nate christened on Sunday, second time round and as it was it turned out a really gorgeous day, very hectic but great!
My brother Phil and his wife Eliza travelled down from Townsville (again) to be his godparents and thankfully they didn't mind. We got a few good picks before we left for the church and afterwards at home but some particular dingbat, me that is, forgot the camera!!!

Check out how cute he looked in his little white suit!

Finally a family pic with all of us in it!!! Very rare for us......

Nate and his godparents.....

No church pics sorry will have to rely on everyone else's pics
So lastly cake cutting time and Nate smashing up his piece of cake!!!

So Monday was really just a recovery day and massive clean up unfortunately then by Tuesday I actually managed enough time to go to a crop day at Scrapbook Savvy and got three layout's done plus another when I got home!!

First one was for Black Magic's first sketch of the month with a criteria of Black, Pink, Silver & White and have used the new Rose Moka papers which I must say are gorgeous!!!

Next was Sketch #20 for Inspired Blueprints.....

Also the sketch at Anna's Craft Cupboard for this month....

and lastly the sketch challenge at Scrapbook Savvy....

Well that's about it for now......till then
Bye xx
