The Scary Witch....

I love playing along at the monthly sketch challenge at Anna's Craft Cupboard. The sketches by Wendy are always so inspiring and this month's was no exception!

Here's the sketch...



and I have used some pics of Isabelle last Halloween, playing the perfect role as the scary witch. We had so much fun this night and this was really the first time the kids got dressed up and went trick or treating with their cousin Abbey.

I have used Bo Bunny papers, and the scary buttons from Purple Pumpkin were perfect for this layout.

Another Storyboard LO.....

A couple of weeks ago I attended another great night of Storyboard crops, and I loved the sample that Lisa had using this month's kit, Hudson, that I just had to scraplift it, I only changed it ever so slightly.



I also got another layout done on the night which was the sketch challenge over at Challenge Heaven.

It is reveal day at Sketchabilities, sketch #41 is a multiphoto sketch but you can adapt it to suit your pics, I chose two 6x4's that I cut down slightly to fit.

the kids loved these lollipops we picked up in Coffs Harbour....the October Afternoon papers were perfect for all the bright colours!

Inspired by Sketch #65

Well I am home from a very beautiful but extremely filling dinner for Valentines Day, and I would say I have been very spoilt! Damo got me a beautiful watch (after many hints that I really wanted a new one)and spent the day with my gorgeous family.



I have wanted a new Eco-Drive for ages.....Not bad pickings from him if I do say so myself!

So while I am lounge bound, thought I would quickly share a layout from Inspired Blueprints sketch #65.

Such a sweet sketch..



and for this sketch I have used the new Hudson kit from Storyboard kits, which I am totally in love with!



Just received my Purple Pumpkin order today so hoping to get some scrapping done tomorrow.....hope your Valentines Day was as good as mine!!

Playing along at Suzanne's.....

Well last month I played along at Handmade by Suzanne's in their sketch challenge which was created by the talented Sam Hauzer from Purple Pumpkin


This was the sketch....



Except for the flowers and the Purple Pumpkin buttons, I have used a Storyboard Kit for this layout. This is what I love about these kits and that is that when you have any bits and pieces leftover from older kits, you can co-ordinate them all together to get even more layouts! Such great value!!

Daycare Buddies....

Loving sketch #64 over at Inspired Blueprints.....lots of scallops!! You can always rely on Inspired for some great sketches.

Also sketch #65 has been released and it's gorgeous, just hoping to find time today to have a go at it.

Reveal time.....

Yes it's reveal time again at Sketchabilities and it's sketch #40.



I have used last month's Storyboard kit for the layout and loved the colours in this kit and those flowers on that Basic Grey paper were made for fussy cutting!

Storyboard kits sketch

I am loving my subscription to Storyboard kits and yet another great kit has been released today, Hudson.....check it out here. Really looking forward to having a play with this one, it is full of so many goodies.

So over on the blog is a sketch challenge using a spiral flower tutorial and I couldn't resist the challenge.

So here's the sketch



and I have used a lot of Evanthe Kit - Novemeber plus a few pieces of my own to create my layout.



Lisa also holds a crop night first Friday of the month at Dapto Ribbonwood centre, so local girls if you are looking for a great night out with some scrappy gals....come join in!!
